What we know so far about the future PlayStation console, named – unofficially by the press and fans – PlayStation 5, I have gathered here. We know it will be launched at the end of 2020 and it has backward compatibility with PlayStation 4 games, we know some exclusive and non-exclusive upcoming titles, and we even have a video with an incredible demonstration of speed from the future console.
The latest rumors about the PlayStation 5 console started a couple of days ago when a new Sony design patent popped up in Brazil, a deja vu if we take into consideration that the PlayStation 4 design was patented also in Brazil.
The big V that you can see it even from a plane is the #1 argument for this being the design of the next Sony console and also for the new name that the press will use from now on: PlayStation V. You can find the whole story here.
The article contains also some PlayStation dev kits. Interesting! 🙂
Let’s take a closer look.
Personally, I find the future PlayStation V patent design too thick, but I hope all those slots that we can see will do a good job of cooling down the console. After all, this machine is 8 times faster than a PlayStation 4 Pro. I am sure it will heat itself as hell. 🙂
